Sure, right now temperatures are in the glorious teens and 20s (Celsius, of course) and it’s hard to picture a time when the temperatures will fall once again and the earth around you will be covered with snow.

That is the 16th fairway of the Vistas Golf Course at Westbrook Village, a 40-plus active adult community in Peoria. And, in a couple of days time once the owners are done with some painting, this can be the view you enjoy all winter long … or for as long as your calendar permits.
I can’t necessarily guarantee there will be hockey, though today’s news on the sale of the Phoenix Coyotes’ looks promising. I can’t guarantee that the sun will be shining brightly every day you’re here … even we end up with something called winter, though it generally falls on a Tuesday and disappears shortly thereafter.
But by and large, what you see above is going to be what you see every day when you take your coffee onto this 1,357-square foot casita’s west-facing patio.
