An Interesting Referral

avatarthumbnail.jpgThe past two days have been spent meeting with two sets of buyers, both of whom came to me in somewhat different fashions.

One found me through the Internet, which isn’t all that difficult to do. You can’t swing a cat by its tail (an analogy Tobey and the other beagles love) and not see me somewhere or another. After reading what I had to say and probably more importantly, what I didn’t – the usual REALTORspeak – they picked up the phone.

The other couple came to me in a more interesting fashion. It seems they have a friend who is one of my four loyal readers here. And while the friend didn’t use me because they had another friend in the business – everyone has a cousin in real estate – and even though we never had spoken, they were comfortable enough referring me to their friends based solely on what they learned of me here.

To which I say thank you, John.

As I’ve said in the past, this blogging thing often seems to happen in a vacuum. I know there are more readers than those who comment, which is fine. You’re more than welcome to soak in the wisdom that is Tobey and say hello only when you have a reason.

But I have to admit, it’s nice to meet some of the faces behind the site statistics that I see every morning.
