So I’m driving down the street with my 9-year-old the other day and she starts to sing along to the chorus of “1985” by Bowling For Soup. Seems my other two kids like the song, too.
Which would all be fine if not for the fact that I was a senior in high school in the fall of 1985 and lived the chorus (aside from rocking out to Wham! It’s physically impossible to rock out to Wham!). This, my friends, is called a Reality Check.
