For all intents and purposes this has been a one man, one dog operation for the past six years. There have been a handful of exceptions, kinda like the guest investigators who pop up on Ghost Hunters, but the heart of the cast has been Tobey and me.
That’s starting to change, partially strategically and mostly out of necessity. When you register for the home search here to begin your real estate search, you’re still most likely going to hear from me. But I also now have buyers’ agents who are assisting not only on the follow-up but also with showing properties.
If you’re one of the dozen people per week calling about rental properties, I have four agents working with me in the West Valley to help you and am hoping to add agents in Scottsdale/Cave Creek and the East Valley within the next several days. (Buckeye is the lone unaccounted for outpost in the West Valley and I’m also working on filling that spot.)
I’ve tried to make similar changes in the past with mixed results; mixed, as much as anything, because I was trying to convince myself to make the leap to this stage of the real estate business before I really was ready to do so. Circumstances have changed, however, and bringing on the help clearly is the best thing not just for me but, more importantly, for our clients.
Let’s face it. Tobey’s not getting any younger. And any change that can lead to even better service only can be a good thing.
