It’s not often I delve into the mid-century listings in the (vaguely) Arcadia area of southeast Phoenix but the last couple of weeks has seen me making a number of trips.
When you’re purchasing a home built in the 1940s or 1950s, there are some modern build aspects that you simply aren’t going to see – cavernous bathrooms, large secondary bedrooms, wider doorways. Essentially, no matter what improvements are made inside, the 1950s floor plan remains the same.
