In the if I knew then what I know now category …
I grew up in Mesa’s Dobson Ranch in a house along Guadalupe Road. When we moved into the home 30-odd years ago there was little traffic noise because the road turned to dirt a half-mile away when you reached Alma School Road and, quite frankly, there just weren’t a lot of us living there.
Needless to say things are different now. And if I had any idea about real estate values at the age of 7, I would have told my parents to buy the house about six blocks away since properties inside a subdivision hold their value better than properties on a major street.
Such things cross my mind as I’m searching for properties for my clients.
I keep several just listed feeds in my Google Reader thanks to the RSS option provided by Diverse Solutions. (You can do the same once I add the links to the feeds to the just listed page … that’s on the ever-growing to-do list.)
My buyers in Westbrook Village are very particular. They want this floor plan in this price range and they want it in these locations. Which is perfectly fine, so long as I’m able to identify the property as soon as it comes available.
Today I saw it … floor plan? Perfect … price range? Right on track … Condition? Looks promising (even if some of the photos were dark) … location?
Right next to 83rd Avenue.
