Looking to Purchase a Vacation Rental? Here’s Your Huckleberry

Yesterday during my weekly tour of East Valley bank owned properties listed by my company, I came across the below townhouse in Chandler’s Fulton Ranch subdivision. There’s a Pei Wei about a half-mile away so on that basis alone it has to be good, right?

Here’s what was most striking about this two-level townhouse:

That’s the view from the back patio. The only way you could be closer to the complex’s heated swimming pool is if you were laying on a raft in the middle of the water. And that, friends, is the type of location that often makes all the difference when you’re purchasing a property to be a vacation rental.

My rough estimate is you’re looking at about $2,000 and change per month during the high season; you can get a bit higher in the nearby gated Ocotillo complex but you’re also going to be out of pocket a bit more at the start.

Interested in more details on this property, Ocotillo, or other vacation rental options throughout the Phoenix real estate market? Call me at 602-502-9693 and I’ll be happy to help.
