I’ll have the so-called official numbers tomorrow but inventory in the Phoenix real estate market already is hopping. We’re up over 37,400 single-family homes on the market in Maricopa County, a rise of around 600 over the past week. And it’s almost certain to go higher.
Usually there’s a little lag before listings that drop off the market December 31 come back on but no so this time around. We’re still nowhere close to the 40,000 of late last summer but we’re heading that way quickly.
