Phoenix’s Element Homes Sales Offices Closed

avatarthumbnail.jpgThanks to “Sheila” for noticing this one …

All of Element Homes’ sales offices are showing on their website as being temporarily closed. Hundred dollar question is why? Neither she no I can seem to find any concrete news about what’s happening.

Rumors were that the finances were tight as early as March of this year, with some construction delays occurring because subcontractors wanted their money sooner rather than later. Not sure if that mushroomed into a larger issue.

Anyone out there hear anything I haven’t?

This, combined with today’s newspaper report that a Sotheby’s franchise in Gilbert is having creditor problems seems to mean the shakeup continues.

I heard, a while back they were re-organizing under what ever bankruptcy Chapter that is- I have noticed that the subdivision “Evans Ranch” at Higley and Val Vista, has stopped building.

Thanks for the info, Jamie … it doesn’t surprise me. As I said, constructio was getting delayed even a couple of months ago as the cash flow tightened.
