I’ve been asked by John Vescova, one of my colleagues and also one of the candidates for city council in Goodyear, to let everyone know the pools are still open in Goodyear for another 90 minutes or so.
Well, sort of. There are no actual polls, which means turnout at the physical polls is only down about 9% from the last time around (bad political humor, I know.) Goodyear went to mail ballots this past year so if you still have your ballot, you can take it in to Goodyear city hall until 5 p.m. tonight.
If there’s currently a fish in your ballot or your bird has left a hanging chad on your ballot, call the city and they can tell you what your options may be.
Thus ends the public service portion of today’s show.
UPDATE: Ballots actually can be turned in until 7 p.m. at the Goodyear City Clerk’s office, 190 N. Litchfield Road, or the Maricopa County Recorder’s Office, 111 S. Third Avenue in Phoenix.[tags]Goodyear city council[/tags]
