As of last Tuesday, the White House has gone blogging.
No, President Obama isn’t sitting in front of his computer pounding out blog entries to post at www.WhiteHouse.gov (although that would represent some rather radical transparency.) But the White House’s “new media” staff has started posting updates of what is transpiring day by day in Washington D.C.
The blog also has what will be the President’s weekly Address – he looks better in front of the camera than most of the real estate bloggers I’ve met trying the same – and has some other fun widgets on the side.
Obviously, news isn’t spin-free, but then again neither is what you see on CNN or Fox News no matter what they tell you. (Listen to the two of them and you’d think you were watching different events.)
You can subscribe to updates via RSS or via e-mail, whatever your preference.
If you’re curious as to what change looks like in relatively real time, this is one place to go.
