Typically, this is where I’d be telling you about the new listing I took in Casitas Chaparral in Scottsdale.
I would post pictures of the place, like I did in this album on my Facebook page for All Phoenix Real Estate.com. (And if you haven’t hit like over there yet, why not?
I’d tell you about the spacious bedrooms, the relaxing patio, the dining niche, the unique floor plan with a switchback staircase separating the family and living rooms.
I’d talk about the community pool and clubhouse or the proximity to Scottsdale’s seemingly 1,000-mile long biking trail.
I’d remind you how cold it is where you are and how warm it is here.
But I won’t.
Because I sold this condo in less than 48 hours. And to think, I was happy when I sold my last gemini home in Sun City in only a couple of weeks. Or the Westbrook Village casita in three weeks.
Not everything I list sells. I had to return the keys to an owner of a Sun City courtyard home this morning after a few months of trying to swim upstream in a market where such properties are of less interest than detached or gemini homes.
But combine the right property with the right price in the right spot … and yeah, two days ain’t all that bad.
Guess I’ll hold off on giving up real estate for a day job for a couple more months.
