What strikes you immediately as you step out onto the fourth floor swimming pool of The Mark Condominiums in Scottsdale is the view. Just beyond the water and the chairs and the plexiglass sits Camelback Mountain (named for its resemblance to, well, a camel’s back as it rests on the ground.)
Similar views are available from different units inside The Mark, a Toll Brothers City Living community featuring more than 30 different floor plans ranging from one bedroom, 1.5-bath condos with a den up to three bedroom, 3.5 bath properties.
All units inside The Mark include stainless steel appliances, gas ranges, granite slab counters in the kitchens and extras such as recessed can lighting, sound dampening flooring (a must when you have neighbors below and above), and tile shower and tub surrounds.
The Mark also is the very definition of turnkey … access to the lobby and elevators is electronically resticted to residents alone and each residence has monitored security and can access the camera intercom at the building entrance. You simply can lock the front door when you leave for your primary residence, whether north of the border or here in the states and know your condo is secure. (The sales folk say many of the owners use their condo at The Mark as a winter and/or vacation residence.)
Some units also are being offered with full furnishing (disclaimer: photos are of a different unit than the furnished unit I visited.)
In addition to the rooftop pool and spa, The Mark has a business center, conference room and full fitness center available to its residents.
Ever heard of room service in a condo, at least room service not provided by the local pizza shop? It’s available at The Mark courtesy of a working agreement with the Valley Ho Hotel next door.
Of course, should you leave the building there are dozens of restraurants nearby as well as the Scottsdale Fashion Square mall.
Prices in The Mark begin in the high $400s before incentives but many incentives run fairly deep.
Our standard disclaimer applies to The Mark as it does to all new builds … make sure you bring your own agent with you on your visit so you can retain the right to independent representation when negotiating your sales contract. The sales people are extremely friendly but they also work for the builder, not you.
