Appurtenance/Appurtenant
Appurtenance/Appurtenant - in real estate terms, something that is attached to a property and therefore should convey at close of escrow.
Examples include but are not limited to built-in speakers, ceiling fans, drapery rods, towel rods, light fixtures, garage door openers and built-in appliances.
Section 1g of the Arizona Association of REALTORS’ Residential Resale Purchase Contract has a list of personal property which, when appurtenant, is supposed to convey with the property.
