Inspection Period - a period of time after a contract is accepted during which a buyer is to complete their due diligence, including all professional inspections.

There is no legally-mandated inspection period. However, the Arizona Association of REALTORS’ Residential Resale Contract provides for a 10-day inspection period. At any point during the inspection period, the buyer has the opportunity to accept the property as-is, request repairs or cancel the contract for any reason. But the buyer only is allowed to select one, and provide one notice - the Buyers Inspection Notice and Seller Response - to the seller.
